We are seeking an experienced and visionary Hotel Managing Director to lead all aspects of a prestigious luxury property. This individual will serve as an inspirational leader, driving exceptional guest experiences, team motivation, financial performance, and operational excellence. With a strategic mindset and a commitment to innovation, the Managing Director will ensure the property remains a market leader in luxury hospitality while meeting the objectives set by ownership.
Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership in luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality, with roles such as Hotel Manager, General Manager, or Operations Director.
- Financial Expertise: Demonstrated success in budgeting, cost control, P&L oversight, and revenue management initiatives, including optimizing RevPAR and ADR.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of market trends, competitive positioning, and guest satisfaction metrics.
- Team Development: Experience in recruitment, retention, and team leadership, fostering collaboration and achieving high employee engagement.
- Brand Representation: Skilled in marketing, brand management, and building relationships with stakeholders, including guests, industry partners, and the community.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hospitality software, including CRM platforms and revenue management systems.
- Sustainability and Compliance: Knowledge of LEED certification standards, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement innovative business strategies to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Prepare and execute action plans that promote profitability and excellence across all departments, ensuring alignment with ownership’s vision.
- Lead with emotional and intellectual maturity, ensuring ethical work practices and consultative supervision.
Guest Experience and Brand Management
- Set and uphold the highest standards for guest satisfaction, creating personalized and memorable luxury experiences.
- Represent the property as a brand ambassador, fostering trustful relationships with guests, industry partners, and the local community.
- Actively participate in initiatives to retain and attract new guests, meeting established occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR goals.
Financial Oversight
- Optimize revenue management strategies, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial data, holding teams accountable for achieving performance improvements.
- Oversee operational development projects, renovations, and new initiatives to align with brand vision and needs.
Operational Excellence and Team Leadership
- Inspire and motivate a high-performing team, promoting a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Ensure seamless execution of day-to-day operations, maintaining facilities that reflect luxury standards.
- Promote employee engagement through training, recognition programs, and professional development initiatives.
Innovation, Sustainability, and Crisis Management
- Drive creative problem-solving and operational innovation to enhance guest experiences and profitability.
- Implement sustainability initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs, maintaining compliance with LEED certification standards.
- Actively lead crisis management efforts, resolving challenges with strategic decision-making and calm leadership.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s in Hospitality Management or Leadership preferred).
